A gentleman is not the lady’s
husband but her slave. A lady’s husband is a lord. A gentleman is simply the
slave a lord gets to serve his wife.
In all probability, a gentleman
is a eunuch, a half man entrusted with the care of a lady without threatening
the lord’s seed.
It is therefore abuse of the
family when we use a gentleman as the ideal man. That is simply the corruption
of the family structure by feminizing and emasculating the husband. In fact
gentleness is not among the traits of a man but of a woman, especially a mother
A man who is the servant of a
lady has no capacity to exercise authority over her. Even worse is the fact
that he will have no authority over his children as she is the one who calls
the shots in the home. No wonder we have sons who are confused and prefer to
look girlish as it is the lady who is in charge at home. Such a man simply
exists to enhance his boss.
A husband does not exist to meet
the whims of his wife. A slave does. A man does not exist to take his wife
wherever she desires. A man lives to get clear direction from God to lead his
wife and children in God’s direction.
Ladies and gentlemen is therefore
not a proper address where a husband is. It is an address for a ladies only
meeting as the ladies will have gentlemen for escorts and servants. In fact I
suspect there may be no forum where lords and ladies are together as each has
their own level and circle of authority. And it is against protocol to mention
ladies before their lords in the address anyway.
Opening doors and pushing chairs
for his wife may appear admirable, but that is the last thing to give him any
worth as a man. Issuing orders to her is more responsible for him.
As an aside why is a king’s wife
a queen yet a queen’s husband is a prince? Simply for the same reason. A
queen’s husband is simply the provider of the seed for royalty. Recognizing him
as the king will simply shift royalty to another family. He is therefore the
official inseminator for the royal family, and that simply because there is no
other respectable way for a queen to get that seed. That is the reason his
children are not named after him as they are not legally his. He could as well
die after inseminating the queen.
No wonder the European missionary
corrupted Christianity as they adapted the Bible to their traditions and
customs. I do not think they did it wittingly; they just wanted to understand
the Bible and Christianity in their context which was very different from the
Biblical context. But the saddest thing was that they packaged that corruption
as Christianity to people whose customs and language happened to be closer to
the Biblical context.
They therefore caused those
nations to unlearn customs that could make them understand the gospel easily
and introducing their customs instead. This made someone who converted more
European than Christian. They insisted on them taking European names, wearing
European attire, running their families in a European way and in short become
European in all but their locale and color. Christian became interchangeable
with European.
This might be the reason Christian
marriages are crumbling faster than any other section of population. Because we
are following concepts that not only are unscriptural but also unnatural. For example
the seed belongs to the man. It is corruption to apportion the same to a woman,
however queenly she may be. A woman finds her security in submitting to a
husband. Having the man hide under her shadow is abominable to God who created
those structures, however logical they look.
I believe the solution to all
this mess is taking the Bible as it is without using the shades of our
background to understand it. Then these things will take the form God has
determined for those who take Him seriously enough to follow Him as He has
revealed.
I know this is a provocation and that
many are rearing to throw stones at me, especially ladies and their gentlemen.
I have not even placed any verses as I am looking for proper Biblical
interaction. Let the verses flow. But do not fear to join this debate. However
let us constrain it to the Bible. I have simply used my little understanding of
English and the English to start it off.
God bless you
