There is something have learned from the book of Daniel...and can relate it to what is happening in the Christian community today

PROJECT FAME...why do you think 80% of the participants are Christians?

King Nebuchadnezzar (TUSKER - EABL) ordered the chief of his court officials to bring in some of the Israelites (Christians) from the Royal family and Nobility (God’s Children), well talented, no physical defect, handsome, well informed, quick to understand and qualified (of excellent moral purity) to serve in the king’s palace. Look at the entire panel of project fame - people from the church, worshipers of Yahweh, the band is all from church....follow me.... (Daniel 1: 3 – 5)

He was to teach them in the academy for three years (3 months academy for the contestants) of which most of them are Christians. The king assigned them a daily amount of food and wine. They were to be trained in the language and literature of the Babylonians (in our case secular music, language and appearance, even dressing) (v 4, 5)

Have you ever asked why they can’t use secular bands? They come to church to pick the best, at the end destroying worshipers. Why can’t they pick Nonini to replace Judge Ian? Why can’t they take Clemo to replace R. Kay? Why are they using Anointed Christians with a high level of talent and gifting? It is not that in the secular we don't have talent but there is something the devil is after - making sure he destroys those he knows will make an impact to the world...and he gives you the best but in the long run the pay is painful. He will give you food from his table and make you feel like a king yet defiling the anointing in you.

Look at all the contestants from tpf 1. Tell me who among them ended up with the same impact they had when on screen or even before? I have talked to some of them who are good friends. The things they went through after that! Most of them went in born again and come out backsliders, no salvation.

After all these episodes don't we learn something? Don't we see? Don’t we draw the line?
All those Christians you see on tpf, are there for nothing? They are there coz they are worshipers and the biggest influence-rs in the gospel field and the devil is making sure they will never have the same impact they had. That's my revelation. We really need to be sensitive to the devil’s strategy

We say it is money. We say it is talent. By the time you start singing secular music who are you praising? Who are you worshipping? Where is God in this? But do we see that? If I was to go to train them to sing, which kingdom will I be building? How many people will be saved today coz Billy Frank is in tpf? When I sing secular music on a station being watched all over EAST AFRICA, how many people will stand and worship with me? And how many people will go astray coz they are looking up to me without knowing I am mentoring them? Can we talk here? Can we be real, Christians?

Some people say that’s how to reach the lost..Daniel 8: how do you want to preach or minister to the sinners when you are eating from their table, wine, money? How will you tell the rest about the Gospel when you are feeding from devils table? They will defile you with the royal (tusker) food and wine.

LOOK AT THIS.....Chris Adwar - so anointed, talented. This guy has made a huge impact in the gospel scene, huge impact. Till today we sing his songs in churches in the world. R. Kay, he is my role model and to me the best audio gospel producer we have in east Africa. To date he has the best vocal production, so anointed. I grew up admiring him and the talent in him. How many people has he raised? So many - Jemima, Esther, Gymee gate - almost all the big names we have in Gospel industry. And the list is endless. My mum Hellen - I grew up listening to her? She is a role model to me. I adore her and she has a unique gifting in her life. We sing her songs till today in churches. Krucials - I am yet to see a pianist…this guy is multi talented - a great arranger. See what he did with Mavuno worship team. Don’t we sing their songs today in church? The list is endless.

Why are those talents and anointing now being used to build Babylon? Why
at the end..Daniel 3;1-30....I hope we won’t be the same people who after believing only a few remained standing and the rest were destroyed...

The church needs to wake up...we are losing all the worshipers God has anointed for our generation. If you look keenly they are only looking for those who have something special in them and not just anyone...but worshipers...worshipers...worshipers...

Lest we feel so comfortable and innocent for not participate in tpf, let me say that the viewers might be bearing more responsibility. You see we are the reason the whole program is produced. Assume all the Christians stopped watching that trash. There will be no advertisers in the program since it is the viewership that determines the advertisement. Without advertisers no company will ever want to sponsor a program for the same reason.

I was in the media and know the operating principles of the business. It is the viewership and listenership that determines what program to put when. The Christian viewers are the main target of the program.

 You see we won’t go to the discos that play secular music. We do not go to the red light districts to watch the parade of half naked girls. Isn’t it a great plus for a chang’aa brewer to bring both to the living rooms of Christians under whatever pretext? And all the visibility of the brand is all over our house. In fact all fellowship is stopped so that the devil can have the field. Taking the same even to the church where the participants fellowship. And our comments and voting is an extra bonus as it confirms our openness to the whole thing. I was shocked to see even pastors posting comments about tpf on facebook. Abomination of desolation!

On the same vein it is the Christians who are boosting Classic FM by wanting to be up to date with all the trash being spewed out. We think it is important to know what is happening without knowing it is stage-managed to suck in the righteous. God forbid Israel to even want to know how the nations worshipped their gods (Deuteronomy 12: 29, 30) Knowing the moral state of our nation does not help us develop an evangelistic model to reach them. It only creates a curiosity in us to want to see deeper. And that is why most stations may be buying ‘rotten’ callers to fuel that curiosity.
