Still continuing the thread.

If God is not interested on the outside why did He have to kill to clothe Adan and Eve after they fell?

Why are there so many instructions on dress in both testaments?

Why does the Bible go to great lengths to describe the dressing of Christ as the soon returning King?

And why should the Bible have a statement 'attire of a harlot' if God never cared about the externals?

You see, God is not uninterested on the outside. He just knows that the outside is a manifestation of what is cooking on the inside.

As such,  a heart with an inclination to harlotry will seek the dress that will put those leanings on display.

I hope you realise that you can gauge the state of a person by their nature of talk, not even where coarse talking is involved. You might hear someone pouring scriptural platitudes in such a way that you sense they have nothing spiritual inside them.

That is why Proverbs 4: 23 is such a powerful verse to memorise
